Ferrari SF90 Stradale — Assetto Fiorano — Giallo Modena
The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is the first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) Ferrari and the first Ferrari to surpass the performance of the LaFerrari, with a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 producing 780 hp, working in conjunction with three electric motors generating 220 hp. In total, it delivers around 1,000 hp, which is sent to all four wheels depending on the conditions. The SF90 can drive fully electrically (for about 25 km) using only the front axle, with a top speed of 135 km/h. The V8 has boxer-like dimensions thanks to the turbos being moved to the flanks, allowing it to be mounted very low. Additionally, the engine is 25 kg lighter. The larger turbos in the SF90 Stradale compared to those used in the F8 Tributo give it a sound reminiscent of the F40!
The transmission shifts in just 200 milliseconds up to the 8th gear! There is no reverse gear; that task is taken over by the electric motors on the front wheels. What’s the advantage of this? Ten kilograms.
But even the aerodynamic work is impressive, a task carried out without visible effects on the exterior. No huge rear spoilers that pop up like the competitors, no large splitters that ruin the lines of the nose. Everything is neat and refined! This makes the SF90 an elegant sight that can still reach 200 km/h in just 6.7 seconds!
The example we offer is a special one in the iconic ‘Giallo Modena’ with a leather ‘Nero’ interior and the right options such as carbon interior and exterior parts, a head-up display, carbon racing seats, titanium wheel bolts, a ‘Nero DS’ livery, and the coveted Assetto Fiorano Package! The Assetto Package includes different shock absorbers, more carbon body parts, a titanium exhaust and springs, a rear hatch with a spoiler (for more downforce), and a plexiglass engine cover. This package results in an even better handling SF90 that is also 30 kg lighter!
Because the already powerful sound of the SF90 wasn’t quite loud enough for the previous owner, a Novitec exhaust system was installed in collaboration with Ferrari. The result is a sound you can’t get enough of!
In short, it’s a brutal and beautiful sight, one you’d eagerly want to drive.
